So it's really hard. I will base my internship power routines tonight and my perception of support from fans dancers / torque, and of course my own views. I hope you let me know what you think in the comments, and I will include a vote, so you can select your Top 10 at the end of this post.
The three
Melanie & Marko - Not only have they been the most consistent in performance and approval of the season, but they had two hands down a great routines. Their tango is phenomenal, and while they are contemporaries were not so amazing, it was a beautiful and strong.
& Sasha Alexander - Sasha seems to have been wearing most of the season, this pair of Alessandro flying largely under the radar. He (or they) is picking up steam endorsement-wise, and there have been some stellar routines, two of them tonight. When you have to dance in both I think both of their performances have been memorable enough to keep them safe.
Clarice and Jess - They had a first major and routine were the last performances of the episode. Despite the jargon, the end of the episode was not terrible, is picking up new fans as a couple. Many people were vocally support Jess, especially lately. Most importantly, every time I put them in the bottom 3, they are safe, so I call safe now.
Three lower
Caitlynn & Mitchell - I want to be safe and I think there are a lot of people like me who love Caitlynn and enjoyed watching his relationship with Mitchell to grow. But they had sucky two routines in this section. I hate to say it, but I do not think that their hip-hop, or even Travis Wall was not that big. I hope people vote for them like I did, though, because I'd like to see Caitlynn particularly Top 10 'Dancing with the All-Stars (ahem, Robert).
Jordan & Tadd - Their first routine was a wonderful routine of Travis Wall, but the second was somehow terribly Spencer LIFF Broadway. I think that people are still angry with Jordan and his overuse of his one foot (I could not stop rolling my eyes when he lifted one foot on a routine), but more than ever like Tadd. Tadd will be interesting to see if growing popularity and the excellent start their routines to save them from the bottom 3
Rickey & Ryan - I hate them here, but of all couples had the worse of the two routines, or at least memorable. I liked their Spencer Liff Broadway, but the judges panned. I do not like Louis-cha-cha, while Rickey was installed on the Hot Tamale train for it. Ryan lost time very popular during the season, so I fear they are likely to land in the bottom three and maybe go home.Watch So You Think You Can Dance Track Show Season 8 Episode 15
