Royal Pains is about a young doctor who, after being unjustly accused of the death of a patient moves to the Hamptons and is reluctant "to hire physician" for the rich and famous. When the administrator of the attractive local hospital asking him to address the city less fortunate, he finds himself on the tightrope between being good for them and do something for others.
